Two skiers dead in Austria avalanche as frantic search launched for five missing

Two skiers have died after being swept away by a "very large avalanche". The avalanche occurred at the St Anton am Arlberg ski resort in western Austria shortly after 3pm CET (2pm GMT). Five skiers were recovered from the snow , but two were pronounced dead while the other three sustained injuries, police said. Multiple mountain rescue teams - including from St. Anton, Pettneu, Flirsch and Landeck - as well as helicopters were involved in the rescue operation, which was called off later in the
