As part of the promotional initiatives for Design Day and Made in Italy Day, the 80th anniversary of the Vespa—a symbol par excellence “of freedom, elegance, and joie de vivre, an expression of the finest Italian design and timeless classicism,” as Ambassador Pugliese noted in his opening remarks—was celebrated at the Metternich Palace to great public acclaim.
