Gov't borrows RON 810 million on Thursday off banks

he Ministry of Finance (MF) on Thursday borrowed RON 810 million off banks in one issue of benchmark government bonds of a residual maturity of 26 months and an average yield of 5.87% per annum, according to data published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR). The nominal value of Thursday's issue was RON 700 million, and the banks offered RON 1.678 billion, agerpres reports. An additional auction is scheduled for Friday for another RON 121.5 million at the yield set on Thursday for bonds. MF
