Images show horrifying amounts of litter in "waterfalls" that are building up on Snowdon after being discarded. The extent of the rubbish strewn across the mountain in picturesque Snowdonia in North Wales was exposed following a two-day clean-up effort. More than 2,700 pieces of litter were collected in the haul including an overwhelming count of 1,737 single-use items, such as 800 drink containers.
