60 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection, down 15.5%, in past week

The National Institute of Public Health (INSP) reported on Tuesday that during the week of May 19-25, a total of 60 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were recorded in Romania, marking a 15.5% decrease compared to the previous week. According to the INSP, 19 of these new cases were in reinfected patients, who tested positive more than 90 days after their initial infection. No COVID-19-related deaths were reported last week.
