Hundreds of customers are owed nearly £40,000 after Purnell's restaurant owned by the Michelin starred chef closed down. Glynn Purnell said he was "heartbroken" after taking the decision to close his Birmingham restaurant after 17 years due to the knock on effect of the Covid pandemic and increased costs and wages.
