Bingo has bounced back from the Covid crisis after winning a new army of young players, the boss of industry giant Mecca's owner declared. The pandemic hammered bingo halls, like many other businesses, due to strict restrictions. Prior to Covid, Mecca had 82 venues. However, after a wave of forced closures it is down 52. But results from Mecca owner Rank Group show the chain is fighting back. Mecca notched up 187,000 new customers in the year to the end of June. Of those, more than four in 10
