BOSTON As many as 10,000 hotel workers were on strike across the United States on Sept. 1, at the height of a long holiday weekend in which millions of Americans were expected to travel. Strikes were launched at 25 hotels in 8 cities including Boston, San Francisco and Honolulu, as workers demand improved pay and a return to pre-Coronavirus staffing levels. Hotels from the Hilton, Hyatt and Sheraton chains were affected with 5,000 workers walking out in the Hawaiian capital Honolulu alone,
