A federal agent is alleging the San Diego Police Department is trying to cover up his confrontation with an off-duty officer at a Costco — who allegedly directed a racial slur at him and knocked him out. Immigration officer Chu Ding filed a lawsuit last week against the city and several officers, alleging they hashed up the 2024 incident.
