Romanian citizen accused of spioning for Russia sentenced to five years detention for treason

Romanian citizen Alexandru Piscan, who was accused by DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism) of sending images of Romanian or NATO military objectives to the Russian Embassy in Bucharest, has been sentenced by the Bucharest Court of Appeal to five years and six months in prison for committing the crime of treason, in a continuous form.
