First cannibalism victim of doomed Arctic 'ghost ship' expedition identified through DNA

The first known victim of cannibalism from the British Royal Navy's doomed Franklin expedition has been identified as Captain James Fitzjames. The officer is the second member of the ill-fated 1845 mission to be found using DNA and genealogical evidence. Fitzjames was one of the captains of British explorer Sir John Franklin 's two missing ships.
