California Governor Gavin Newsom has filed a brief in support of a case before the Supreme Court, arguing that President Donald Trump’s tariff policies are unlawful. Newsweek contacted Governor Newsom, the White House and the Department of Commerce for comment via email on Saturday outside of regular office.
