Indonesia's economy faces more job losses when US tariffs come into effect

Indonesia is expected to wrap up its first round of tariff dispute negotiations with the United States in Washington on Friday (Apr 23). The talks come amid hopes that US President Donald Trump’s administration will slash its 32 per cent reciprocal tariff on the Southeast Asian country. Thousands of Indonesian workers in the manufacturing sector have already lost their jobs due to falling demand. Saifulbahri Ismail reports.
