The grieving mother of a British graduate shot dead by her father while visiting his Texas home has called on US detectives to reopen the case. Jane Coates, 49, from Warrington, Cheshire, believes police did not properly examine evidence of recklessness after her daughter Lucy's death on January 10, 2025.
