Trump says he doesn't want CUSMA, but might sign it

'I would rather leave [CUSMA] unsigned, I'd rather have it terminated… but I may sign it,' U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters in Paris. The agreement is nearing its six-year review on July 1, where all three countries must agree to extend the deal. If any country opts not to, as Trump has previously signalled, the pact enters a review process but remains in place until 2036. There is also a formal withdrawal clause any party can trigger, but it requires six months written notice. »»»
