March 24 : U.S. crude futures rose more than $1 in early Asia trade on Tuesday as markets assessed the supply outlook after Iran denied holding talks with the United States, contradicting President Donald Trump's earlier claim that discussions were under way. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were up $1.37, or 1.6 per cent, at $89.44 a barrel as of 2206 GMT. The contract hit a session low of $84.37 on Monday.
