HBO Max and WBD Access, the company’s talent development division, have announced the return of their writers’ program for a second year at Series Mania Institute. Now titled Script Engine, the program is “designed to identify and support the development of mid‑level screenwriters to create original, locally rooted series,” according to a press release.
