According to a report by Japanese media outlet Nikkei Asia, Honda is suspending its plan for an EV plant in Alliston, Ont. Karim Bardeesy, parliamentary secretary to the minister of Industry, says Honda will share more of its 'medium to long-term plans in the coming weeks.' Industry advocate Flavio Volpe notes the investment by Honda was announced at a time when the U.S. was itself committing to an EV transition.
