FRANKFURT Eurozone inflation edged up in September buoyed by energy costs, official data showed Wednesday, reinforcing expectations the European Central Bank will not make further interest rate cuts this year. Inflation rose to 2.2 percent last month, from two percent in August, the EU's statistics agency said, above the ECB's two-percent target. The figure was in line with predictions by analysts surveyed by Bloomberg, but economists for FactSet had expected inflation to rise to 2.3 percent.
