Italian inflation dropped to 1.2% in October from 1.6% in September, Istat said Friday.     According to preliminary estimates, in October 2025, the national consumer price index (NIC), excluding tobacco, will show a change of -0.3% month-on-month and +1.2% year-on-year (from +1.6% in the previous month), stat agency Istat reported.     The significant slowdown in the inflation rate is mainly due to the marked year-on-year slowdown in the prices of regulated energy products (from +13.9% to -0.8%
