Inflation rate up to 4.67% in October from 4.62% in September

The annual inflation rate climbed to 4.67% in October 2024 from 4.62% in September, as food commodities rose by 4.75%, non-food by 3.45% and services by 7.66%, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) on Tuesday. “The consumer price index in October 2024 compared to September 2024 was 100.62%. The year-to-date inflation rate (October 2024 compared to December 2023) was 4.4%. The annual inflation rate for the month of October 2024 compared to October 2023 was 4.7%.
