TOKYO, Feb 13 : Japan's core consumer inflation likely eased for the second straight month in January, a Reuters poll showed on Friday, due to falls in gasoline costs and a slower pace of food price increases. The nationwide core consumer price index (CPI) - which includes energy items but excludes fresh food prices - is expected to have risen 2.0 per cent in January from a year earlier, a poll of 17 economists showed.
