The National Commission for Strategy and Prognosis (CNSP) has revised upwards its estimate for average annual inflation in 2026 to 7.9%, an increase of 1.4 percent compared with its autumn forecast, as a result of the intensification of the conflict in the Middle East, according to the Spring 2026 edition of the 2026-2029 macroeconomic forecast.
