New orders in the manufacturing industry (domestic and non-domestic market) fell by 28.5 percent in nominal terms in August 2025 compared to July 2025, and by 4.9 percent compared to the same month last year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) data published on Thursday. However, in the first eight months of the year, new manufacturing orders (domestic and non-domestic market) increased by 4.6 percent in nominal terms compared to the period from 1 January to 31 August 2024.
