Air passenger traffic in Romania increased by 9.5% in 2025 compared to the previous year, reaching 28,477,600 passengers, up from 26,000,800, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS) cited by Agerpres. The largest shares of passenger traffic were recorded at Henri Coandă Bucharest Airport, with 8,539,100 embarking passengers and 8,459,700 disembarking passengers. It was followed by Avram Iancu Cluj-Napoca Airport, with 1,769,400 embarking passengers and 1,777,700
