Romania’s energy imports surge amid decline in domestic production

The latest report from the National Institute of Statistics (INS) reveals a mixed performance for Romania’s energy sector during the first ten months of 2024. While primary energy resources fell by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2023, energy imports surged significantly.
