Ryanair is set to fully embrace the digital age by getting rid of paper boarding passes in favour of a mobile-app-only system by May 2025. The budget airline, headed up by Michael O'Leary, has revealed that soon all check-ins will happen through their mobile app. Back in October, Michael O'Leary highlighted the changes, saying: "Our goal is to eliminate check-in desks at the airport, just like we've done with luggage counters", stating that 60% of Ryanair passengers use mobile boarding passes
