Alysa Liu couldn't have asked for a better Winter Olympic Games if she tried. She landed in Milan a few weeks ago with a little over 250,000 Instagram followers and a dream to showcase her art to the world, after the Beijing Games left her burned out. At the Closing Ceremony, Liu had two gold medals around her neck, 3.6 million Instagram followers, and a love for being an athlete that wasn't there four years ago. As a 16-year-old in Beijing, the American figure skater knew her career was over.
