Simon Cowell has sent a message of support to the victims of the ferocious wildfires in Los Angeles . Thousands of people have lost their homes in California following days of unrelenting flames, which have been ravaging through the state since Tuesday. Residents have been encouraged to evacuate their homes and strict water saving rules have been imposed as a result of the blaze, which has so far claimed 16 lives while destroying more than 37,000 acres of land.
