Andrea Ciani

Andrea Ciani is an economist at the Joint Research Centre of the EU Commission in Ispra (Italy) since 2020. His research interests focus on international trade and industrial policy, and in particular on EU trade dependencies and firms’ participation to global production chains. He holds a PhD in Economics from Bocconi University. Before joining the EU Commission, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Duesseldorf Institute for Competition Economics.
