A 34-year-old Nigerian asylum seeker who was fatally stabbed in Dublin had previously been accused of rape in Italy , his friends have revealed. Quaham Babatunde lost his life after being stabbed in the chest on South Anne Street in the early hours of Saturday morning. It has since come to light that he was accused of rape while residing in Italy in April 2018 and was reportedly facing deportation.
