Italy's overall energy bill this year will rise to €57-58 billion, €8-9 billion more than in 2025, even if the Iran crisis is resolved, the UNEM association representing companies involved in the refining and distribution of fuels and petroleum-derived products said on Wednesday. It said the nation's expenditure for energy came in at s €48.7 billion last year, which was over €7 billion less than in 2024.
