Italia
Former Milan wing-back and ex Juve Stabia boss Ignazio Abate took over at Torino on Friday, the Granat said. Abate, 39, who earned 22 Italy caps and a runners-up medal at Euro 2012, replaces former Parma manager Roberto D'Aversa who took Toro from 16th to 12th in Serie A last season. Abate, from Sant'Agata dei Goti near Naples, has signed a two-year contract, the Turin club said. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED © Copyright ANSA
