The Italian Ambassador to Canada, Alessandro Cattaneo, made an official visit to the Province of British Columbia from February 11 to 13. In the capital, Victoria, he was received by Lieutenant Governor Wendy Cocchia, with whom he discussed the strong and growing economic, social, and cultural relations between Italy and British Columbia. The ambassador was accompanied by the Consul General in Vancouver, Paolo Miraglia del Giudice, and the Consular Correspondent in Victoria, Silvana Saccomani.
