Ljubljana, 9 July - While meetings are being held in an attempt to defuse the tense political situation regarding the plan to increase defence spending, the junior coalition party Left, the initiator of the referendum on the matter, keeps insisting on its proposal. The referendum is also still supported by the deputy group of the Social Democrats (SD).
