Ljubljana, 27 May - The National Assembly voted down a bill by the opposition Democratic Party (SDS) that would abolish a 1974 act under which pension top-ups are given out to deserving individuals. The SDS filed the bill shortly before a government-sponsored overhaul of the Yugoslav-era law was voted down in an SDS-initiated referendum earlier this month.
