A US submarine has sunk an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, destroying it with a torpedo. The attack took place about 40km off the coast of Sri Lanka in international waters. Eighty bodies from the ship were found by rescuers, a Sri Lankan defence official told BBC Sinhala. Another 32 were rescued, according to the Sri Lankan navy.
