Pro-European parties win Romanian elections with almost two thirds of total votes

The elections for the Romanian Parliament ended with the victory of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), which won 22.13% of the votes for the Chamber of Deputies (22.48% for the Senate), after 99.7% of the votes were counted by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP). The Alliance for the Uniting of Romanians (AUR) came second with 17.92% of the votes (18.21% for the Senate), and the National Liberal Party (PNL) came third with 13.31% (14.35% for the Senate).
