A murder investigation is underway after a man in his 40s was stabbed to death near a popular train station. Police officers attended reports of a stabbing on The Broadway, Wimbledon near the London town's train station in the early hours of February 22. The deceased male has since been named as 40-year-old Luke Brereton, from Mitcham. Mr Brereton died from his injuries on The Broadway shortly after 12:35am on Sunday, February 2.
