Heading into the 2026 season, many expect the Kansas City Chiefs to be a playoff contending team again if star quarterback Patrick Mahomes doesn’t miss a chunk of the year after recovering from an ACL injury. Mahomes will have something next season that he’s been missing ever since he took over as KC’s starter back in 2018: a 1,000-yard rusher in Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker. He’ll also have his top target back in tight end Travis Kelce, who re-signed with the team weeks ago plus both of his
