The European Union (EU) and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 20 April 2026, strengthening their partnership to accelerate the African Continental Free Trade Area which is the largest free trade area in the world.
