Fresh arms package to Kyiv, Supreme Defence Council decides

The Supreme Defence Council chaired by President Sergio Mattarella on Monday night voted a fresh package of arms to Ukraine and said there were threats of hybrid war from Russia.     The Council, chaired by Mattarella in the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, reiterated its support for Ukraine, with the shipment of the new weapons package, and the need for peace in the Gaza Strip to be achieved through the recognition of two states.     It also warned of Moscow's "hybrid threats,"
