EU to game out bloc’s mutual assistance clause in case of attack

BRUSSELS ― The EU is to game out how it would respond if one of its countries was attacked. In the first operation of its kind, chief diplomat Kaja Kallas is to oversee what's called a "tabletop" exercise next month to establish how the bloc's mutual assistance clause, Article 42.7 , would work in practice, a senior EU official said.
