President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced sanctions on ten Russian athletes whom Kyiv says have actively supported Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. According to the President’s Office , the measures will apply to sports figures who visited occupied Ukrainian territories, publicly defended Russia’s invasion and occupation, raised funds for Russian forces, or organized events for Ukrainian children forcibly abducted by Russia.
