In the town of Sokuluk, just outside Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek, 36-year-old Samara Kushubakova, turned a simple effort to improve her three children’s diet into a thriving business with social impact. Today, her brand of sugar-free fruit leather -  NaktaKak, which means ‘authentic dried fruit’ in Kyrgyz – is known across the country. What started as a homemade experiment has grown into a sustainable enterprise. Her products are now available in health food stores and pharmacies in Kyrgyzstan
