The soaps, including Emmerdale and Coronation Street could look very different soon, with bosses addressing plans to overhaul production to compete with some of streaming platforms' biggest shows. Soap boss Iain MacLeod recently shared potential plans to make huge changes to the shows we know and love, from the look and feel of episodes to the content. Iain suggested spin-off series and an "evolved" appearance could be on the cards, following some already big changes for the shows this year.
