Israel‑Hezbollah ceasefire holds despite sporadic clashes

After a 10‑day ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah  came into effect, thousands of displaced Lebanese began returning south, crossing damaged roads and destroyed bridges. Some families found their homes in ruins but stayed —ready to flee again should fighting resume. Israel says it set up a temporary security zone near the border, raising fears of a long‑term occupation.
