Premier Giorgia Meloni said Wednesday she was infuriated that the lavish Superbonus home improvement incentive scheme introduced by ex premier Giusppe Conte had meant Italy had been unable to hit the 3% deficit-to-GDP target last year and thus emerge from an infringement procedure.     "It's infuriating" that "we would still have had a deficit below 3% if, even in 2025, the state coffers hadn't been burdened by the billions of euros spent on the Superbonus," Meloni said on social media.     "
