Officers abused during rival London protests as police make 43 arrests

The Metropolitan Police has released footage of officers being subjected to abuse and racial slurs during two rival protests in London, on Saturday. A video shared by the Met shows officers being yelled at and sworn at, with one black officer told to “go back to your homeland” before getting arrested. About 60,000 people are estimated to have joined Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom march on Saturday, and between 15,000 and 20,000 attended the Nakba Day rally, the Met said. A total of 43
