Pasadena Humane opened its doors to its most heartrending newcomer yet: little Peanut, a tiny survivor whose traumatic injury left him missing most of his nose and struggling with a dislocated jaw. Though he arrived in rough condition, staff say his courage shines through every day. The veterinary team is pulling out all the stops to give Peanut the care he so desperately needs. With too little skin to close his wound, his nose must slowly mend itself from the inside out over the coming weeks.
